About Last Night... The Versace Menswear Launch at Barneys
By Caroline Torem Craig

There was no fancy food and not to much to drink last night at the Versace menswear launch at Barneys -– it didn't matter. All that was important was the superstar that is Donatella Versace!
It was like a receiving line in a glorious wedding. As soon as anyone came in the door, they politely waited their turn to speak and perhaps pose with the Real Italian Madonnatella.
The room was sweltering and packed, but Donatella stood ramrod straight in sky high heels and graciously welcomed everyone for what seemed like an eternity, answering the most ordinary questions (I caught the answer to one question, and her answer was “I saw Atonement today.”)
Guests in attendance included Patti La Belle, Woody Allen, Soon-Yi Previn, Busta Rhymes, Tinsley Mortimer, Kiera Chaplin, Amanda Hearst, Mickey Boardman, Alan Cummings, Leighton Meester, Stephon Marbury.
Busta Rhymes; Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn

Fabiola Beracasa; some cuties
Julie Gilhart and David Hershkovits; Jake Shears

Howard Socol; Tinsley Mortimer and Donatella Versace

Leven Rambin and Emma Snowdon Jones
Mickey Boardman; Patti La Belle and Stephon Marbury
