About Last Night... The TOD'S Art Plus Film Party at London's Whitechapel Gallery

TOD’S and London's Whitechapel Art Gallery attracted a veritable slew of models, bankers, art collectors and party lovers to its annual Art Plus Film Party last night. Guests like model-of-the-moment Agyness Deyn and her partner in partying designer Henry Holland enjoyed seafood, sweets and Laurient Perrier Champagne all night while Pet Shop Boy Neil Tennant DJ-ed from his black MacBook. The party did double duty as a fundraiser for the gallery (tickets where $250 a pop) as well as an exhibit of artist Christian Marclay's work. In a sea of well-dressed, well-heeled people, nothing was more beautiful than seeing Iwona Blazwick, Whitechapel’s art director, who was wheelchair bound because of a broken foot, being catered to by the fashionistas in attendance, including Marclay. It illustrated the whole point of the evening: art and fashion work well together when the going gets rough.
