R.I.P. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
By Ann Magnuson
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the grand guru to the stars of the '60s, has died. The divinely diminutive daeva, who I am told George Lucas used as the model for Yoda, brought Transcendental Meditation to the householders of the world and some of us ex-neurotics are quite grateful for it. Still the question remains... did he really come on to Mia Farrow?

Isn't that why the Beatles got disenchanted with him .....honestly I have always had issues with following any sort of dogma or person which can supposedly alleviate my fear of death and non-existence.He was all in all a man...nothing more nothing less.I use to think there was some book or you know hidden message which could help me with those issues ....I do think that messages can enter you .......and that it happens through dreams and by accident. We all want someone to hold our hands and explain the chaos happening around us or say why do bad things happen when perhaps there is no true answer ....I guess its a matter of faith in the end....what you have faith in is another question.I envy the Romans and their belief in the many gods,.....the formation of one omnipotent being over several has done nothing but make things even more difficult.Because in the end we are still blaming an abstract idea for the perils of life.
