About Last Night, London Fashion Week Edition: The Mulberry Party

Everyone thought it would be the Viviene Westwood party, but it turned out that Mulberry's shindig to celebrate the launch of Hadley Freeman's The Meaning of Sunglasses, was the hot ticket for London Fashion Week. PAPER friend, Jamie Winstone, and singer Lily Allen are some of the A-listers who packed themselves in Mulberry's new Bond Street shop for the event. The drinks were amazing -- as were the models in tight red shorts they hired as waiters, but Mulberry's head of press, Vanessa Lunt, scored major points by booking Hot Chip for a live performance. "We love them," she said, "They performed a wonderful concert for us last July." Judging from the number of people jammed into the concert area, their encore was equally successful.
