Créme de la Créme: Under $20 Edition
By Carol Lee

1. Tiger Balm - $5.27
Tiger Balm used to be so ubiquitous, but now it feels like a product of a by-gone era. Well, I've fallen in love with TB all over again! I saw it all tucked away in my medicine cabinet with a rusty cap and remembered what a multi-tasker this little guy can be -- from muscle aches, insect bites to a stuffy nose. I also love the smell of camphor.
2. Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Parfum Roll-On - $13
I saw this at Sephora and thought it was the best on-the-go perfume. It is exactly the size of a Tide stain remover pen and it smells really nice -- flowery but not too sweet... can't go wrong with notes of rose, peony, mandarin, rose and amber.
3. Smith's Rosebud Salve - $5.50
Another timeless gem. The directions say use it on chapped skin, blemishes, diaper rash and detergent burn. Beyoncé once said that she uses it to keep her eye brows in place. But the best use for this all-purpose balm, hands down, is on the lips -- it keeps them moist and also gives them a natural gloss.
4. Bach's Rescue Remedy - $9.95
This bitter liquid drop is made with pure flower essences, works like a natural Xanax and comes with one of those mini-turkey-baster-looking things. Good for taking on a plane or whenever feeling anxious, it's supposed to relax and mellow you out.
5. Hollywood Fashion Tape - $6.95
You can keep your nipples just out of sight with this hypo-allergenic double-sided tape, but you can also keep other things like hemlines and decolletage in place in a pinch.
6. Dr. Bronner Peppermint Organic Liquid Soap - $14.49
As someone who's crazy about washing hands, I'm a total Dr. Bronner devotee. His soaps are gentle and all natural. Peppermint is the best because it's like gum for your hands. What can I say, I'm a consumer with brand loyalty when it comes to hand soap!
7. Neutrogena Sugar Body Scrub - $9.99
Neutrogena recently came out with a whole spa-inspired line of body care products including this sugar body scrub. I do love a good sugar scrub but they are usually very expensive. I like the idea of more populist sugar scrub that you can pick up at any drug store.
8. Rimmel Underground Light Beam Lip Gloss - $8.11
Didn't you always want a lip gloss with a built-in flash light and mirror when you were out dancing and all of a sudden you felt like you had to reapply or you'd die? Well, here you go!

I j'adore the under 20 edition of Creme de la Creme! But I also like to overpay for grooming products so I'd love to see the LIfestyles of the Rich and Famous edition too!
