Bay Garnett: A style icon Makeover

Mr. Mickey was perusing the Hello! magazine website the other day and stumbled across something truly amazing. (Mr. Mickey's heart really belongs to Hola!, the Spanish social magazine that started it all, but Hello! is fun too). Anyhoo, Hello! was having a contest that would give the grand prize winner a makeover by style icon Bay Garnett. Bay is a legend to downtown New Yorkers. Her magazine Cheap Date was outrageous and fabulous. The magazine was famous for shop-dropping, the opposite of shop-lifting -- leaving old vintage pieces on hangers in fancy stores -- and then photographing its exploits! MM was shocked but thrilled to see Bay involved in such a mainstream kind of style craziness. And kudos to Hello! for making it happen!
