Savanna Samson: Setting the Record Straight

Last week, PAPER managing editor Rebecca Carroll interviewed Savanna Samson, one of Vivid's most prolific and popular porn starlets. In said interview, Samson indicated that she was endorsing Rudy Giuliani for President. Fast forward to today, and both the New York Post and New York Daily News picked up this item, but neither attributed it correctly!

First the NY Post claimed that Samson told this directly to Page Six:

Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign just got sexed up with an endorsement from porn queen Savanna Samson. "I fell in love with Giuliani years ago, before and during 9/11," Samson, star of "Anyway You Want Me," told Page Six. "I like how he cleaned up the city, even though I was a victim of it. I don't want to be walking down the street with my daughter and stepdaughter and see smut in the window - even though I'm part of it." Would she stump for Rudy? "Absolutely! It would be an honor," she gushed.

And then, in a weirder move, the Daily News claimed that Savanna Samson told this to drag king Murray Hill:

Porn stars say: Rudy for President! "I fell in love with Giuliani years ago - before and during 9/11," adult actress Savanna Samson tells (drag king) Murray Hill in Paper magazine. "I don't think he would turn down my vote because I'm a porn star!"

Wha??? It seems like both papers actively got the information wrong! Anyway, to set the record straight, Samson told this to PAPERMAG.com, y'all!
