Michel Gondry Directs Natalie Portman in Paul McCartney's New Music Vid
By Alexis Swerdloff
Here's the video for Paul McCartney's new song "Dance Tonight," off his upcoming album Memory Almost Full (out Jun. 5). The video, directed by Michel Gondry, stars Natalie Portman as a "mischevious ghost" and Mackenzie Crook (from The Office and Pirates of the Caribbean) makes an appearance. Apparently, it was Stella McCartney, Paul's daughter, who suggested approaching Natalie about being in the video. According to People, McCartney is quoted as saying, "I rang her up and said 'Hey, I'm Stella's dad!' She had a bit of time off as she was between films so it was great." Pretty amazing stuff, we must say.

To Michel:
Hi; if you know Paul, let him know there is a compassionate, kind, and very beauttiul Vegan New Jersey girl who would love to meet him. I gave away all my fur and leather items. I love Stella's designs and I know his kids would love me. If Stella and Mary did not like me, I would NOT want to date him at all. I am friendly, confident, with a good personality and am very fit. I am not after his money. I already own 2 homes and am independent; I have yet to find the love of my life. I love to cook ALL VEGAN! I even prepare Vegan eggplant parm. and lots of dairy free chocolate things like chocolate chip cookies and banana bread w/chocolate chips. I also do lots of coffee, with soy milk, of course. All my friends and family love my Vegan cooking.
I am divorced, recently single, very fit, (cut abs, lean and toned but not skinny), am told I am very pretty, and have one son.
I think Paul has an adorable personality and I adore creative people and love his music. I am creative in my own right as I love to cook and totally believe in animal rights. I am loving but not possessive and am secure in myself and what I believe in.
I am a grown woman with confidence; I have been Vegan for almost a year now so no one has to "change me". Give Paul my e-mail address if he would like to correspond. Bye for now, from NJ.. Gigi

Dear Sir Paul,
I am well aware that you quite sullen, with every reason, at this time.
It has been five years, and I too am in a sulky mood, most of the time. The only therapy I find is my work.
I have a studio on the premiss of my home. A 600 square foot area, or in metric terms the equivalent of 1.548cm squared. My conversions were once much better, however in my studio I only convert inches to feet to determine price for my work.
I am a former teacher of Chemistry and Physics. I taught one semester of each for a full school year at the secondary level for 20 years. I retired in 1992 and now use my chemistry degree to restore oil paintings. This is my work that is also my therapy. I rather "hide" in my studio and make many "reasonable" excuses for not engaging in coffee or tea with my girlfriends. My best excuse is, " I just received the new AIC Journal,(the European "sister" Journal of the AIC titled IIC, offering equipment from vendors like "Willard" not found in the states which I have corresponded with in West Sussex). I explain about an article specifically relating to a problem I am presently encountering with this particular painting in the studio."
You may feel free to use this technique when you are not in the mood for company or when you really cannot say no to your close friends or even your family. As with this excuse, your friends and truly your family will poke a bit at you but in the end will understand you just need time, for Paul.
Watch the movie" Truly Madly Deeply,". British actors, Juliet Stevenson and Alan Rickman( a nice Jewish Boy) filmed in Great Britian will allow you a sulky mood. Which, by the way you are certainly entitled!
I hope this will help. Actually it did and then I discovered another movie "The Upside of Anger" with Kevin Costner and Joan Allen. This is good for being left behind and how the characters unfold this feeling in the movie.
If you want to talk , just e-mail me. I am mot very good at this e-mail communication but just remembertake everyday as it comes. It will take a good while Paul, but your friends are always there waiting and wanting to help. Time. All you need is time. Just look at the photographs of your children and their faces. Trust me Paul, it works wonders. Then, after the children leave, watch these movies I have suggested.
Warmest Regards,
Jan
