I think POT is illegal because it would make everyone get along as opposed to say what alcohol does ....I like drinking but I have never met someone who wanted to fight while smokin the chroniC....in fact offering a joint ay just end an argument .....also it could spurt people into a realization just how much they are getting FUCKED by their government on a day to day basis.

I donT know if yo keep an EYE on L.A. politics...since yr in Newyork EyeSPY but I remember this blog and saw last night on the news how medical marijuana in california is being threatened to get shut down because of the deViants which certain LAPD officials say the clinics bring around and that most people getting legal pot do not really need it.According to him there are not nearly enough diseases which marijuana treatment helps.This guy was right out of the police convention in hunter hompsons fear and Loathing in Las Vegas...after that they showed how many american and Iraques got killed that day....and how WE MUST WIN THIS POLICE WAR on IRAQ....yET studie have been made how American interaction is doing NOTHING to help the IRAQ situation....

No doubt the medical marijuana laws are being flouted and people are using it as a pretext to get pot. Surely, people will always betraying to turn things around, but now that Gov. Schwarzenegger is making California perhaps the most progressive state in the nation I don't expect he's going to want to throw his pot smoking friends in jail. One of the great social benefits of medical marijuana is that it removes the trade from the criminal element. ≈ny way, I could go on.

.....I agree it does take away the cash flow from a pot dealer...( the prices are better...plus no risk ) and it is pretty easy from what I hear to get the medical pot.They even have pills you take that resemble vitamin E tablets .....
