The Fresh & Onlys

On their fourth LP in four years, San Francisco's Fresh & Onlys have surged to the forefront of the Bay Area's psychedelic scene. Led by Tim Cohen, the F&Os can sound alternately like R.E.M. at their jangly, early-'80s peak, or the Buzzcocks at their pop-punkiest. Shimmering-pop tracks "20 Days and 20 Nights" and "Dream Girls" will perfectly complement a late-night hangout sesh in the dog days of summer.
