This chillingly effective film by Craig Zobel was inspired by a bizarre true event that took place at a Kentucky McDonald's. Harried manager Sandra (a terrific Ann Dowd) receives a phone call from someone pretending to be a police officer accusing one of her workers of theft. Blindly following the caller's command, she proceeds to strip search the subject, a sweet blonde girl named Becky (Dreama Walker). This nasty prankster (Pat Healy) easily manipulates the situation, leaving one feeling frustrated at how many people automatically acquiesce to authority figures.
