Drooling for the spring runway shows.

I have to say that the spring catwalks made me drool. I went nuts for the wonderful silhouettes and colorful, crazy clashes of prints. In New York, my faves were Isaac Mizrahi's inspirational Xerox-print pieces, which are already collec- tors' items, and Rodarte's collection--a rich mish-mash of prints and separates. Their wood grain pieces were fabulous. Proenza Schouler's chic, delicately dipped and dyed dresses were to-die-for beautiful. Ohne Titel's fresh, modern show was excellent and artist Tauba Auerbach's neck-pieces, which she customized for the show, were the best.

Milan made me so happy this time around. People may be sick of me talking about it by now, but Jil Sander's was my number-one favorite show I'd seen in ages. OMG. I loved those boxy shapes, the big graphic stripes, the blocks of amaz- ing color and the white Ts paired with big poofy ankle-length evening skirts (a little tip of the hat to Mizrahi?). I adored the (controversial) Prada show, which was also filled with vibrant prints and stripes. And the Marni show was fabulous, packed with bright, graphic takes on scuba and cycling gear.

As for Paris, Celine (by Phoebe Philo), Gareth Pugh and Balenciaga (by Nicolas Ghesquière) were the ass-kickers for me. Philo's zip-trousers and chic silhouettes hit the nail on the head, as did Ghesquière's asymmetry and Pugh's silver, now iconic Pop Art-inspired dresses. And there was so much more that I loved. Here, on the next pages, are just a few of the looks that made my heart skip a beat.
