WHO: Crystal Moselle
WHAT SHE DOES: Makes documentaries and short art and fashion films.
CLAIM TO FAME: Produced a documentary on Taylor Mead, which
premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and just completed a video
collaboration with designer Lindsey Thornburg.
FRAME OF REFERENCE: "I am fascinated with storytelling and visuals in
motion. I could never be a photographer because I am a hoarder
with my frames -- I don't want to throw them away."

Aska Matsumiya is out this month and she's currently at work on a
documentary about six brothers ages 13 to 19.
