We decided to shoot this story on my favorite couch in the world in my
favorite color in the world. The Florence Knoll Sofa in red. It is
humble, classic, comfy and chic. Designed in 1954 with a spare angular
profile, this now iconic sofa looks just as modern today as it did 55
years ago when Knoll designed it as part of what she called her "Lounge
