Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. FILF

(Fox I'd Like To...)

Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. FILF

We have a little confession to make. When we saw the star of Wes Anderson's new stop-motion animated film based on Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr. Fox, we developed a little crush. And no, not on Jason Schwartzman or Adrien Brody—although we wouldn't kick either out of bed. The star of the movie is actually a 18-inch-tall furry fox. He sports skinny pants, corduroy blazers and short-sleeved button-downs (just like a cute boy in publishing, or Wes Anderson himself for that matter), and is voiced by silver fox George Clooney. This disconcerting revelation that we felt sexual feelings for an animated animal had us thinking about other cartoon animals we've secretly lusted over in the past…

Tramp from Lady and the Tramp
That devil-may-care attitude had us hooked, and he's that male anomaly that actually changed his hound-dog ways for the Lady he loved. And the shower scene? Not unattractive. We're just saying.

Robin Hood from Robin Hood
So it seems we have a thing for foxes. They must be our "type" in the animal world.

The cat in Paula Abdul's "Opposites Attract" video
He's got some sweet dance moves and we feel better knowing Paula wanted him, too. Actually, that might make us feel worse...

Fantastic Mr. Fox opens Nov. 13th.
