SIZWE BANZI IS DEAD
For its BAM debut, this controversial play by world-renowned, anti-apartheid South African playwright Athol Fugard will star actors John Kani and Winston Ntshona, with direction by Aubrey Sekhabi. The story tells the journey and identity crisis of a man ordered to leave his district because he doesn't have the proper permit -- trading his name for a number, he becomes a dead man.
