What inspired your Spring 2006 collection?

Alphonse Mucha in Barcelona -- that period of art and architecture.

What music are you using for your show?

I haven't decided yet -- maybe Caetano Veloso.

What Fashion Week parties are you most excited about?

The ones where all my friends are invited!

Why do you think New York is the fashion capital of the world?

I don't think New York is the fashion capital of the world -- but it has the potential to become so.

What's the most amazing fashion show you've ever attended?

Gaultier's Russian Collection in 1985! Big shows at Parc de la Villette in Paris.

When you were younger, was there one, pivotal "moment" that led you to a career in fashion?

I also wanted to be a marine biologist like Jacques Cousteau, but I realized that I didn't like being underwater -- too claustrophobic!

What movie do you think has the best fashion?

Blade Runner, any Kurosawa movie

What revolution/coup d'etat would you most like to have outfitted?

NONE! But perhaps only a futuristic, bloodless one -- one of the mind!
