Ariana Grande has been topping music charts with every album she's released — from Yours Truly to thank u, next. Now, as the holidays roll in, one of her most underrated projects is resurfacing as it re-enters the top 40 on iTunes: her Christmas & Chill EP.
Ari tweeted, “oh my god. my favorite body of work. she is rising from the dead ! thank u new listeners of christmas n chill and hello everyone that is just now discovering it. i'm so happy.” In a reply to a fan, the singer also says that this is “the happiest [she’s] ever been.”
Christmas & Chill, which was released through Republic Records in 2015, is a six-track R&B-trap-holiday song masterpiece which includes classics like “December” and “True Love.” Ari released the songs as a surprise early Christmas gift to fans, following her 2014 album My Everything.
Back in 2015, Ari wrote on Twitter that it only took a week to get everything together. She added, “i love / am so proud of my talented friends! we put this ep together in under a week in my home stu! twas a long, productive slumber party.”
