We asked Paper Design Director Andrea Fella to pick her favorite spreads that were included in our print editions this year and featured the most compelling design work that couldn't be re-created in our online versions of the stories. Below, she picked her favorite opening spreads (the designs that introduced cover stories, themed features and fashion features to the reader) as well as her favorite layouts within those stories and others.
