Alan Wilkis - "Come and Go (feat. The KickDrums)": A Video Premiere

We at PAPERMAG are super-excited to premiere the video for the insanely talented Brooklyn-based producer and remixer Alan Wilkis' song "Come and Go," directed by Wilkis and David Sosnow and shot with a single-point 360 panoramic video camera called Kogeto (which Sosnow actually co-invented!). If Alan Wilkis' name sounds familiar that might because you've heard his groovy remixes of songs by the likes of Yeasayer, RDJ2, Phoenix, Temper Trap and Phantogram. His latest venture, the extremely catchy "Come and Go," featuring vocals courtesy of the KickDrums' Alex Fitts, is part of Wilkis' ongoing PRINTS project, a series of singles created in collaboration with various vocalists, wherein he creates the instrumentals first, and then passes them onto a singer to record over. The video, shot this past summer in Brooklyn, and featuring various buxom ladies in pink tank tops, is equally compelling and mesmerizing. Peep the video above, and if you are so inclined, download the song here.
