Swedish label ACNE showed their Spring/Summer 2011 Menswear at trendy Paris restaurant Le Chateaubriand, a former grocer, in the 11th arrondissement. A mixed bag of editors, French actors and artists like designer Rad Hourani, jewelry goddess Betony Vernon, blogger BryanBoy, Scott Schumann of The Satorialist and Princess Alexandra zu Sayn-Wittgenstein were there to congratulate ACNE creative director Jonny Johansson and CEO Mikael Schiller. The clothes were shown on skinny boy models standing on blocks of wood as if being auctioned off like slabs of savory meat. The ACNE look: simple, clean and chic. My favorite piece? The shiny, electric blue boots and the black leather overalls - perfect for winter nights at either one's favorite S&M; dungeon or a chilly night on the rooftop of The Standard Hotel.
