Sometimes when we wear a cardigan, a pleated skirt and a patent-leather ballet flats, Mr. Mickey says we're having a "Melissa Coker" moment. Coker is the designer of the pretty-pretty fashion line, Wren, and to showcase her new spring line, and collab with jewelry designer Dana Lorenz (of Fenton/Fallon fame), she enlisted filmmaker Gia Coppola and Lulu magazine's Leith Clark to create a fashion film, What's Up?. According to the press release, "Coppola explores her ongoing interest in romanticized adolescent angst set against the light of California's perpetual golden hour." Sounds good to us! The film will be shown at a private event at Mr. H on Sunday, where Tennessee Thomas'll be DJing and Alexa Chung, Sophia Coppola, Lily Cole, Emily Mortimer, Tavi Gevinson, Harley Viera Newton will be stopping by. Check out a preview of the film above.
