You may know her from her commercial work: "My hand was in an AT&T ad, and that was about it."
But most likely you've seen her: Kissing Jesse Eisenberg and Jack Black in back-to-back Baumbach films, The Squid and the Whale and Margot at the Wedding, respectively.
Now she's making it big in: Gentlemen Broncos, a spoof on low-budget sci-fi films, written and directed by Napoleon Dynamite creator Jared Hess. Feiffer plays a home-schooled wannabe fantasy filmmaker, alongside Michael Angarano, Sam Rockwell, Jemaine Clement and Jennifer Coolidge.
But she still has time to explore her native New York: "The New York I grew up in was very small. It was my apartment, my high school and the movie theater. I had about six places I hung out, and now I feel like I'm finally discovering New York. I went across the Brooklyn Bridge last week, and I was like, "What the fuck is this? You can bike across this?!"
Gentlemen Broncos is now in theaters.
