"Video Project"
After you've gotten deep into Ivanovska's tunnel installation, with audio and visual elements, you realize you're in utero and the only way out is the vagina, a red gate with a bright light and a heartbeat sound to boot. Warm colors and handmade ropes give off the sense of fertility and open up thoughts of human fate: rebirth, spirituality and that "light at the end of the tunnel."
