Maureen McCormick, who played America's favorite older sister, Marcia Brady, from 1969 to 1974 on The Brady Bunch, is back. The former child star will appear on the fifth season of Celebrity Fit Club, which premieres on VH1 on April 22nd. As one might imagine, McCormick is constantly approached to be on reality shows: "But I've always said, ‘No, no, no.'" However, when Celebrity Fit Club got in touch with McCormick, her daughter Natalie told her, "Mom, you have to do it." Says McCormick: "It's been a great experience. Ross the Intern [from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno] and I are like boyfriend and girlfriend. We talk, like, every day! And Warren G, the rapper, called me his sister!" McCormick took a break from shooting to tell us which television shows she likes to watch.
EXTRA and ACCESS HOLLYWOOD
I can't go to bed until I've seen those
shows. You get the latest scoop on fashion; you get the drama. It's fun
to watch. I love Billy Bush. He is so cute -- both my daughter and I have
crushes on him.
LAW & ORDER
My nephew works on that show, on Criminal Intent. I love
trying to figure out the case -- I'm kind of a detective at heart. I love
pretending I'm one of them. It's like eating chocolate. Very rewarding.
CNN
Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Anderson Cooper is so hot. He is
the hottest newsperson ever. I love him. I totally trust him. I feel
safe when I watch him.
RACHAEL RAY
I really love her shows. I love to cook. I love to make
chocolate-chip cookies and chocolate soufflé. I have not had any
chocolate since Thanksgiving. Now, when I have a sweet tooth, I eat
raisins. They are candy for me. I haven't had any bread since
Thanksgiving. I drink coffee when I wake up in the morning, then yogurt
or oatmeal. For lunch, I eat a Boca Burger or a vegetarian soy salad or
brown rice and green beans. At night, for dinner, I have rice and
vegetables or a Boca Burger or a salad.
AMERICAN IDOL, DANCING WITH THE STARS, CELEBRITY FIT CLUB
My guilty
pleasure is to watch reality shows. Going into Celebrity Fit Club, I was
so nervous, so afraid. Just having to admit that you're 30 pounds
overweight, and in front of the whole world, that was really hard for
me. But every day became better and better and better.
I LOVE LUCY
I am addicted. My all-time favorite show since I was a
little girl. I feel so good when I see Lucy.
