As the daughter of power producer Peter Guber and yogi-philanthropist Tara Lynda Guber, Jodi Guber grew up in a glamorous Hollywood cyclone of movie stars and red carpets. It was only natural that she became a successful talent agent and later a publicist who was known for throwing over-the-top events. But one day she decided to give it all up in the name of yoga. "I had so many careers at one point," she recalls. "People said I was this Renaissance woman. I wanted something more, though." Guber studied yoga and soon was teaching classes and taking on private students. "I started out following in my father's footsteps and ended up following in my mother's footsteps." The next step was to create her own line of yoga clothing, called Beyond Yoga. The flattering clothes are designed to move from the yoga studio to lunch on the patio of The Ivy. Fans include Reese Witherspoon, Charlize Theron and Cindy Crawford. "Whether you like it or not, celebrities are everywhere and are an important part of business," Guber admits. "My career and contacts in the movie business have definitely helped me with my career now."

Although she still practices yoga, Guber has been concentrating mostly on her fashion line, which also includes a collection of jewelry called Beyond Malas. The guru of good vibes, Deepak Chopra, said Guber's mala charms "help manifest your deepest desires." So what is Guber's deepest desire? "I'd like to have a lifestyle company that encompasses many things," she says. "I see myself as a spiritual entrepreneur."
