A little SUV dancing, anyone? Alexander Wang (center) gets down with friends

Despite the nasty weather in New York this weekend, hundreds of party kids (and one very famous designer) showed up to a Bushwick warehouse for SHADE: Detropia Redux. After Detropia 1.0 got prematurely -- and unexpectedly -- shut down last month, the party's promoters Seva Granik and Ladyfag wanted to make it up to their friends and guests by giving it another go. This go-round, the crowd danced on top of SUVs and partied in Cadillacs 'til 6 a.m. while DJs like Mess Kid, Fatherhood, and Jason Kendig kept the tunes going. Take a look at photos by PAPER's Rebecca Smeyne above and below.
