Photo credit: Don Chambers of Chamber StudioEach week in our Chefs Off Duty series, we talk to some of our favorite chefs and industry folk around the country to find out their secret late-night spots where they like to grab a bite and a pint when their kitchens are finally closed. Next up: Alton Brown, beloved Food Network Personality (Good Eats, Iron Chef America, Cutthroat Kitchen) and recently-minted bow tie designer with the launch of a collaboration with mens' socks and accessories brand, hook + Albert. You can catch Brown live while he's on a national tour -- find his tour dates HERE.
What's your favorite under-the-radar place to grab a bite to eat in the Atlanta area?
Session Street Grill in Marietta [Georgia].
How long have you been going there?
I've been going there about 7 years, ever since I moved into the neighborhood. I can walk there easily, which makes me wish they served beer.
What are their specialties?
Gyros, falafel, and greek potatoes.

Did I mention the potatoes?
Can you share any funny anecdotes from nights spent there?
I live around the corner so I usually go there to sleep at night. Actually, they are not open at night. Just for lunch.
