New York magazine's interview with Oscar de la Renta is amazing. Among the many things we learn, our two favorites are that he used to live above Tennessee Williams -- who was noisy and into picking up "the worst trade" -- and that he almost got into a fist fight with Cecil Beaton at a party for insulting his (at the time) girlfriend Françoise de Langlade. Our minds are blown.
