SHOPPING: By Robert James Opening
Menswear designer Robert James opens his new Williamsburg pop-up shop tonight with big-band jazz by Dandy Wellington and his Band, a dj set by John Thornley (US Royalty) and cocktails by Bulleit. The Brooklyn store will feature four unique pieces not available in James's Lower East Side location at 74 Orchard St. For more information, head to the BRJ Facebook.

PAPER favorite Marina and the Diamonds display range of stylistic flare, with a mixture of polished pop and a vintage aesthetic. Opening are Swedish duo Icona Pop.

MUSIC: Jef Lee Johnson and the Ohnos at Douglass Street Music Collective
Philadelphia-based guitarist Jef Lee Johnson is equally versed in jazz and funk, having toured with both McCoy Tyner and D'Angelo (as part of legendary backing band the Soultronics). He has been proclaimed "the G.O.A.T." by none less a music scholar than ?uestlove. Tonight he makes a rare New York appearance fronting a new group called the Ohnos, with percussion by composer Lukas Ligeti.
