If you live in (or are planning to visit) New York and haven't yet been to the glutton's fever dream that is Williamsburg's Smorgasburg -- the food off-shoot of the Brooklyn Flea Market -- then we highly recommend you cancel your upcoming weekend brunch plans and gorge on Brooklyn Piggie's fancy schmancy pigs in a blanket, Solber's mouth-watering El Salvadoran pupusas or Dough's fluffy hibiscus-frosted doughnuts at the food fair instead. And, now, the folks behind Smorgasburg have announced that starting on September 9th, they'll be expanding to DUMBO, adding a Sunday version held in Brooklyn Bridge Park's Tobacco Warehouse. Open every Sunday from 11am-6pm (excluding 9/30 when the DUMBO Arts Festival takes place), Smorgasburg 2.0 will run through November 18th (same as the one in W'burg). To get more info and to check out all the vendors (which rotate every weekend), visit their website HERE. Word of Mouth
