Fashion Week is about to kick off Thursday night with the always-absolutely-cuckoo-crazy Fashion's Night Out but, if piling into a packed denim boutique in the Meatpacking District isn't your cup of tea, check out this exhibition of works by legendary portrait artist
Cornel Lucas at the
Fiorentini + Baker store in SoHo (54 Mercer Street). Lucas, who is 92, snapped glamour shots of some of Hollywood's biggest stars throughout his 50-year career including
Marlene Dietrich,
Lauren Bacall,
Bob Hope,
Katherine Hepburn,
Joan Collins and more. This is the first time his work will be shown in New York City. The show runs September 6th through October 28th. Check out some images from the exhibition below.
