A forthcoming installation by artist Tatzu Nishi will let visitors up scaffolding and into a room erected around NYC's Columbus statue.  Though it will only remain open for less than two months from September 20-November 18, it has already drawn criticism by members of the Italian American community who say it "disrespects the explorer's legacy."  Not helping matters is the fact that the installation will be up during the Columbus Day holiday.
