Hey there, PAPER people! We have a new techno-treat for you, as well as a new contest using the new app, ptch. Ptch is available for iPod and iPad which lets users seamlessly combine photos, videos and music -- replete with filters so you can get that vintage feel or channel your inner lighting technician -- into a 60-second clip of "ptch." Your ptch appears in a live stream, and can also be posted to Facebook, Twitter, and anything else that gets you more likes and more comments. That's why we made this little ptch of Mr. Mickey (and his craziest outfits, of course) imploring you to explore it for yourself!
Now that you're done gawking at His Greatness MM, it's contest time! We're offering a bag of PAPER goodies to the maker of our favorite ptch! We'll also put our favorite pitches on the website! The steps are simple:
1. Download Ptch from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Follow Paper Magazine on Ptch. (From the explore screen search "Paper Magazine" then tap our profile picture to find us)
3. Make a PAPER-worthy Ptch!
4. Send it to maxk@papermag.com.
We'll review your ptches as they come and post some of our faves along the way! The contest will span two weeks, from today to Friday, August 24th -- so don't rush in, make those videos great! We'll be waiting in anticipation for your submissions...
