Well, this is exciting. Influential riot grrls Bikini Kill are marking their approaching 25th anniversary (they formed in 1990) by re-issuing their catalog via a newly formed record label, Bikini Kill Records.

The band's starting things off with the 20th anniversary re-release of their 1992 self-titled EP. They're also releasing a demo tape that features super-rare and/or otherwise unavailable tracks. The Bikini Kill back catalog is also now available via bikinikill.com, iTunes and bandcamp.

In addition to re-issuing their abums one by one, the band's also going through their archives, and will use bikinikill.com and upcoming release to feature rare photographs, practice tapes, live recordings, more unreleased songs, films, video, writing, interviews, zines and flyers.

The Frumpies and Casual Dots albums are also for sale on the band's site, as are new Bikini Kill t-shirts. Ahh!
