You know that feeling when you trip in public and awkwardly pretend that nothing happened while hurriedly walking away?
This is just like that. Only better, because it's not actually happening to you.
A video uploaded to Vimeo by Brooklyn filmmaker Dean Peterson is making the Internet rounds. Noticing that one of the stairs at the 36th St. subway stop in Sunset Park was juuust slightly higher than the rest--and, more importantly, caused everyone to trip on their way up -- Peterson cleverly set up his camera.
The result is this oddly delightful video titled "New York City Subway Stairs."
The cheerful music is the perfect accompaniment to your schadenfreude and the continuous reel of tripping New Yorkers. Enjoy.
