Jonathan Toubin will be back spinning records at Brooklyn Bowl (61 Wythe Avenue, Williamsburg) this Sunday, May 6. The New York DJ barely survived a freak accident last year in a Portland, Oregon, hotel when a car crashed through a wall and landed on top of him. He's since been in rehab and is finally returning to the decks this weekend. (Read about his remarkable recovery -- a nurse told him he was "a miracle of modern science" -- in this NYT profile.) Also DJing on the night: Ian Svenonius, Mr. Fine Wine and Josh Styles plus bands including Kid Congo Powers, The K-Holes, Daddy Long Legs, Expensive Shit and more. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Admission is FREE.
