Yum! The popular outdoor food market Smorgasburg is returning this weekend on Saturday, April 7th. The rain-or-shine event will be open every following Saturday on the Williamsburg waterfront between North 6th Street and North 7th Street from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Over 100 vendors are expected including Asia Dog, Blue Marble Ice Cream, Danny Macaroons, Landhaus, Porchetta, Sunday Gravy and many many more. The Brooklyn Kitchen is also teaming up with the market this year for various events and contests, including a Pie Contest, National Ice Cream Day contest and a harvest fair. We're pumped for the addition of Smorgasbar this year, as well, which will launch by summer and featuring local beer, wine and spirits. Also this Saturday, the original Brooklyn Flea moves back to their outdoor home over in Fort Greene (176 Lafayette Ave., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) while the Williamsburg Flea re-opens on Sunday, April 8, on the East River. Eat up, drink up and get shopping.
