Anna Wintour's sure getting name-checked a lot this week: first Nicki Minaj gave a shout out to the Vogue editress in "Come on a Cone" from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: "When I'm sitting with Anna, I'm really sitting with Anna / Ain't a metaphor punchline, I'm really sitting with Anna / Front row at Oscar de la Renta." Now Kanye's released a new track, "Thera Flu," in which he boasts of having "dinner with Anna Wintour, racing with Anja Rubik / I told you mafuckers, it was more than the music / in the projects one day to Project Runway."Perhaps more notably than 'Ye and Nicki's love for Anna, though, is Kanye's admission of his love for Kim Kardashian later on the track: "And I'll admit, I fell in love with Kim / 'Round the same time she fell in love with him / Well that's cool baby girl, do your thing / Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team."
For a man not long on humility, this is about as humble as it gets. Listen to "Thera Flu" in full below -- we also like that despite all the talk of fancypants fashion and jet-setting to Paris, the last minute of the track is solely DJ Khaled giving shout-outs to Kanye's old Chi-town stomping grounds.
