PAPER
on the front lines of cultural chaos since 1984.
Screen shot 2012-04-20 at 12.22.05 PM.pngChristian Marclay's "The Clock" will be showing in NYC again this summer. The critically-acclaimed and award-winning mash-up of old films, videos and TV shows --  in which the exact time can be heard or seen on a clock, a watch, or in dialogue -- will be screened for free from the middle of July to mid-August at Lincoln Center's David Rubenstein Atrium. The artist was recently profiled in a New Yorker feature that described the 24-hour long piece as "the ultimate digital mosaic." If you missed it when it was shown at Paula Cooper Gallery in January 2011, be sure to catch it this summer.  It is worth watching all 24-hours, and is so entertaining that it will keep you awake.
