The 22nd Annual Tibet House Benefit

If last night's Grammys left you hankering for a massive musical event -- that involves neither Chris Brown nor the Foo Fighters, might we suggest this year's annual Tibet House Benefit, supporting the preservation of Tibetan culture, and curated by Philip Glass. The lineup is a stellar one, and includes Antony, Dechen Shak-Dagsay, Rahzel, James Blake, Das Racist, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, and Stephin Merritt. For some nutty reason, tickets are still available here.

Carnegie Hall, 881 Seventh Ave. 7:30 p.m. $33-$95.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi at the Film Society of Lincoln Center

Put down your spicy tuna roll and head to Lincoln Center tonight to catch a special screening of director David Gelb's portrait of 85-year-old master sushi chef Jiro Ono, the man behind a 10-seat sushi restaurant located in a Tokyo subway station, and recipient of a three-star Michelin review. Stick around post-screening for a Q&A with Gelb.
