Honor's F/W Line Inspired by a Preppy Boy's Semester Abroad Romance.

Yesterday at the Honor show, designer Giovanna Randall wooed the crowd -- Alexa Chung, Derek Blasberg, Shailene Woodley and Kristen Chenoweth included -- with her bold colors, eye-catching, layered print frocks and sophisticated takes on women's suiting.  The newly pregnant designer told PAPERMAG that the inspiration for the collection came from the idea of "a romance between a preppy boy in his semester abroad in South America or Central America and a woman from that place... and how their styles combined."

When asked how the designer managed the stress and craziness of Fashion Week while pregnant, Randall cheerily responded, "I was as hands on as ever but I got a little more sleep and I hired more help so I have more wonderful design assistants and they did an amazing job."  And, she adds, rolling with the punches is "kind of the fun of it."  Judging by how smoothly everything went at Randall's second showing at Lincoln Center (and the relative serenity backstage afterwards), we were duly impressed not only by the clothes but also by the mom-to-be's ability to keep calm and carry on.

Check out some backstage looks from Randall's runway below.
