Otto Preminger's Laura at Film Forum
Laura follows an NYC detective as he investigates the murder of a beautiful advertising executive and slowly becomes obsessed with her. This is one of the most quintessentially Noir movies ever -- with lots of beautifully shadowy interior shots of Manhattan apartments, a possibly guilty newspaper columnists, a no good fiance and, of course, lots of fabulously melodramatic one liners. Don't forget your trench coat and fedora.

Jessica Goldfond of Shiny Squirrel showroom has been running an indie jewlery hliady pop-up at Carroll Gardens Smith+Butler boutique since early November and, alas, it all goes away tomorrow.
