My vanity plate photo project, which has now become a full-blown hobby, began when I saw a plate that read RIP KURT.After that, I think I just started to notice them everywhere I went.I travel a lot and when I'm home in New York I ride my bike every chance I get, so I've actually seen some and chased them down.I think the fascination comes from the fact that where I grew up, in Maryland, only a few "rich" people had stuff like this. It was always intriguing to me.This year I'm going to be traveling a ton so I'll send some more in.
