Word of Mouth

Little Blue Ivy Carter is only two days old, but she's already duetting with her pop. Jay-Z posted "Glory" on his Life+Times blog earlier today and Blue Ivy, who you can hear crying in the background toward the end of the track, is credited on the Pharrell-produced track as "B.I.C."  "My greatest creation was you," Jay-Z proudly sings to his brand-new daughter as he describes his and Beyonce's struggles to conceive and their elation the first time they heard Blue's heartbeat. It's really lovely stuff, but we have a feeling this song is going to totally embarrass B.I.C. when she's 15, if not for this line alone: "You don't yet know what swag is/ But you was made in Paris/ and Mama woke up the next day and shot her album package." Also, "You're the child of my destiny/ you're my child with the child from Destiny's Child/ that's a hell of a recipe" is our new favorite Jay-Z lyric. Give "Glory" a listen above.
