A tipster in-the-know told us that Cults will play a song tonight with a special guest. If you managed to snag tickets to this sold-out show (or even if you didn't), join in on the speculation! Back in the fall, Cults went on a big tour with agency-mates Foster the People but they're supposed to be in Australia tomorrow, so it's probably not them. However, the band worked with Freddie Gibbs on a recent remix and is rumored to be making a hip-hop mixtape featuring Lil B, among others. Some sleuthing through both rappers' Twitters and tour schedules yielded no details on Lil B's whereabouts but Gibbs, on the other hand, did tweet something about buying dimebags in Brooklyn yesterday so he could be in the area. Whether it's either of these two or not is anyone's guess but we're betting that with the band's new-found "hip-hop" phase, it could be a rapper. This leads us to a whole slew of possibilities, including up-and-coming NYC-based talent like Azealia Banks and A$AP Rocky (though we think he's in L.A. right now), but maybe we're just getting carried away with ourselves...Add your guesses in the comments below and if you're headed to the show tonight, we'll see you there!
