on the front lines of cultural chaos since 1984.

Once upon a time in a far away land (San Francisco) there were two crazy people (Caleb Pate and Nephi Evans) who called themselves Seventeen Evergreen. They lived in a secret room at the back of a Salvation Army thrift shop and only came out at night. They dressed in old crocheted blankets and knitted sweaters and loved to make colorful blender drinks and play with the old musical instruments they found on the store's shelves. Eventually they wrote a catchy song ("Polarity Song") and made a beautiful video (created by Terri Timely and Sarah Applebaum) and they lived happily ever after.
