2. Banksy donated a giant Monopoly board to Occupy London.  The sculpture has been valued at over $600,000.

3. NYC's non-profit org Studio-X (180 Varick Street Suite 1610) is hosting a spin-off of the UK's "Thrilling Wonder Stories" on Friday and Saturday, October 28th and 29th. There's a cool
lineup of speakers and events including the live debut of a new album by DJ/rupture's band, Nettle.  Here's all the details.

theater starting tonight, October 27.

5. Carhartt opens their first Work In Progress store in the U.S. today, October 27th, at 119 Crosby Street in SoHo. 

6. Liars curated the Sonic City music festival, happening this weekend over in Belgium. They're playing October 29 with Chris & Cosey, Oneida, Factory Floor and Legendary Pink Dots.
