We always have the best time at
The Blonds show. As devoted fan,
Kat Graham of
The Vampire Diaries put it, "This is how New York fashion should be... enough with trying to one-up Paris. [The Blonds] always have the most fun!" This time, they've partnered with
Playboy to present a titillating collection of rabbit-inspired looks. "We got to put all our favorite bunnies on the runway. Every piece is a rendition, but, my favorite's got to be Jessica Rabbit!" one half of the designer pair,
Phillipe Blond explained. Guests ranged from
Michael Musto,
Amanda LePore, and
Patricia Field to
Porcelain Black and
Jackass'
Bam Margera (perhaps the oddest one out of the bunch).
Playboy creative director,
Rebecca Szymczak, said the iconic mag is undergoing a branding revamp in North America, and sought out the Blonds to participate. "
Playboy and The Blonds have had a love affair with one another for some time now. They love the aesthetic and we love their take on new American couture. We thought what better way to re-establish the fashion lifestyle brand for
Playboy than with The Blonds?" A match made in pop-culture heaven, indeed.
