Today I was scheduled to check out the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2012 show, and was excited to see the new fits and colors. Tommy has always been an exciting brand to watch. Thirty mins before the show I decided to skip press and pictures (overload) to visit my friends' Gentlemen thrift shop, that has hand picked goodies from '90s and early '00s. I found an awesome vintage Tommy button down that was perfect to sport! Ally Hilfiger came up to me and says, "so your wearing dad's old shirt," which was probably the high point for me.
The show started and was incredible from start to end.
Meeting Tommy and his family was so cool. We later had dinner at a non-disclosed location [Ed. it was Rose Bar] with highly cool A-lister Owen Wilson, the Interview magazine team... And I also sat next to the beautiful Corinne Bailey Rae. We chatted and ate fine steak and stuff. She is awesome!
New note to self: Fashion Week might be the new Halloween.
